Ashok came back to Omaha in May 2018 in between his first and second surgeries. We did many drawings from life and tried to capture the success of the first surgery as it compared to what his face looked like prior. He graciously posed for me for many hours.

Only after I did the portrait that Ashok told me he did not like this side of his face, so I'm not sure he likes this portrait as much as some of the others.
