A sketchbook is carried close at hand at all times. It's better to have it then to miss an excellent opportunity to capture a moment. It's a good idea to keep one in your car too. I like to use mine while I get my oil changed. Airports are great, waiting in the office at doctor appointments, really just about anywhere. I try to sketch where ever I go (as long as my young boys let me.)
